US Population Slows

Over the next twenty years the  U.S. population is projected to grow at a slower pace than was projected four years ago. The driving forces of national population growth are births, deaths and international migration.   Population projections are based on assumptions about the future levels of fertility, mortality, and international migration that are based on past trends.
